Description of the wine
On their return from conquests in 1189, three knights Guiral, Alban and Loup, in love with Princess Bertrade, learning of her disappearance, decided to become hermits, each on a mountain and to light a fire every year to celebrate the beauty. The peak was thus named Pic Saint Loup.

Vinification and aging
The work begins in the vineyard with a selection of the plots most suited to producing this type of wine.
The grapes are harvested largely manually. A double sorting system is carried out in the vineyard and in the cellar.
The vinification is traditional and the grapes are therefore destemmed before the maceration phase begins, which lasts between 3 and 4 weeks. Pressing is carried out, then giving way to malolactic fermentation. A third of the wine is aged for 9 months in barrels, the rest being kept in vats.
Tasting note
The dress is a deep red.
The nose reveals an intense bouquet of notes of
red fruits and sweet spices.
The mouth expresses complex aromas
marked by scrubland and ripe fruits
developing on toasted notes.
