Description du vin
Gérard Bertrand reveals the history of the great terroirs of the South of France. In 1687, the prior of the parish of Fulcrand Cabanon traveled to Versailles to reveal the secret of his red wine to the Sun King who greatly appreciated it. This is how the wine of Cabrières experienced a glorious consecration, celebrated by the poet of the monarch court Saint-Amant:
“Give me some of this red wine… In short, it’s my fire, my blood, my sun…”
